Townhome and Commuter Students

Top five reasons to purchase a dining plan:

  1. Save Money - When you're on campus the whole day, you're bound to get hungry. Join us for lunch at our pay one price dining hall at Harrison or opt for a snack at our a la carte locations. Because dining plans are tax-free, you'll save money whenever you eat on campus.
  2. Save Time - Dining plans are convenient, saving you time on campus. You won't need to prep, clean, or remember to pack your lunch when you dine with BASC!
  3. Socialize - College isn't just a time for studying; enjoying meals together with friends strengthens bonds with your classmates and makes you feel part of the community. Friends that eat together, stay together.
  4. Put Extra Financial Aid to Good Use - Apply dining plan charges to your student bill and use financial aid to help cover your expenses (if available).
  5. Enjoy Delicious Food - BASC's dining program is award-winning and nationally recognized. See what the buzz is about!

Point Plans

Points serve as a debit account accessed via your ID card or virtual BASC Pass that can be used to make food purchases on campus. Spending Points instead of cash or credit saves 8% sales tax. Open an account with as little as 25 Points and add as often as you like. For even more value, consider making a larger purchase of Points and we'll throw in an added incentive!

  • Purchase 250 Points and we'll throw in 10 Bonus Points—$250
Includes 260 in Points to use in any dining location during the semester.

Bonus Points will not exceed a maximum of 10 per deposit and are limited to one deposit per day.

Optional Point purchases, including Bonus Points, are non-refundable. Only purchase what you'll use in a semester. Points expire at the end of each semester and do NOT roll over to the following semester. Bonus Points are earned during special promotions and offers, and are redeemed once the Point balance has been depleted.

Not sure how many Points to purchase? Refer to the worksheet below to help you determine the number of Points you may need. The pricing shown is for meals in Harrison Dining Hall for the fall 2023 semester. Other dining locations charge a la carte, however, for planning purposes, these values are good estimates for meal prices at those locations as well.

Both Meals and Points expire at the end of the semester.

  • 15 Meal Block plus 50 Points—$300
This block plan provides 15 trips to the dining hall hall or select meal combos at The Square or You Pick 3 meals each semester and 50 Points to use at any dining location during the semester.

Meal Plans

In addition to Point and Block Plans, we are pleased to offer townhome and commuter residents a choice of any of our resident dining plans. These plans are great because the dining hall meals are all-you-care-to-eat, and there is little budgeting involved.

While dining hall meals are for dine-in only, to-go options are available at all other locations using Points. Students on the Any Plans (not including the Unlimited Plan) can use a meal swipe from The Nest’s You Pick 3 program, and all students with meals can enjoy using meal swipes on select combos from The Square. For even more flexibility, consider adding additional Points to these base plans.

Each dining plan also comes with three Any Time Meals for the semester which can be used to bring a guest to the dining hall or for You Pick 3 meals at The Nest, or for select meal combos at The Square.

  • Unlimited plus 225 Points—$3,215
This meal plan provides unlimited trips to the dining hall each week, one meal per visit for select combos at The Square, and 225 in Points to use at any dining location during the semester. Students on this plan cannot partake in the You Pick 3 Program at The Nest.
  • Any 19 plus 325 Points—$3,215
This meal plan provides any 19 trips to the dining hall or select meal combos at The Square or You Pick 3 meals per week plus 325 Points to use at any dining location during the semester.
  • Any 14 plus 175 Points—$2,860
Our budget plan! This meal plan provides any 14 trips to the dining hall or select meal combos at The Square or You Pick 3 meals per week plus 175 Points to use at any dining location during the semester.
  • Any 10 plus 475 Points—$3,075
This meal plan provides any 10 trips to the dining hall or select meal combos at The Square or You Pick 3 meals per week plus 475 Points to use at any dining location during the semester.
  • Any 5 plus 600 Points—$2,145
This meal plan provides any five trips to the dining hall each week and 600 in Points to use at any dining location during the semester.

Select your plan for Fall

  • Starting mid-June, Log in to select your plan for next semester. When a student adds Points and/or selects a Meal plan via their student bill in the fall semester, that same amount/plan will be added in the spring semester, unless otherwise requested. Townhome and commuter students need to reselect their Points and/or Meal plan each fall at the start of the academic year. New resident students will be defaulted to the Any 19 Plan. Returning resident students will be defaulted to their previous semester plan.

Only one change to a dining plan can be made during the first two weeks of the semester. Friday, September 8, 2023 is the last day to make meal plan changes for the fall semester.
