Service Hours

Brockway Dining Hall is currently open for service for residents students with approved campus living accommodations serving brunch/lunch and dinner. Visit our locations and hours page for up-to-date hours. Hours are subject to change.

Starting Monday, April 6 through the end of the semester (Wednesday, May 13, 2020), Brockway Dining Hall will be open for meal plan customers only. Hours will be daily from 11 am - 1 pm for pick-up for pre-ordered meals only.

How does it work? 

Meal plan holders must complete a Daily Meals Request Form to pre-order their meals in
advance. Students can select a lunch, dinner, and breakfast option on each form for pick up the
following day.

When do I need to complete the Daily Meals Request Form?

Complete the form by 1:30 pm the day prior to pick up. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday forms
are due by 1:30 pm on Thursday. The Daily Meals Request Forms will be accessible on this webpage.

When and where do I pick up my food?
Pick up your meal selections each day in the lobby of Brockway Dining Hall between 11
am - 1 pm.

When do I complete my first Daily Request Form?
Complete the Monday, April 6 Daily Meals Request Form no later than 1:30 pm on Sunday,
April 5. This form will be available on Friday, April 3.

How many meals can I order?
Meal plan holders can place (1) order per day for their daily meals (lunch, dinner, and breakfast included) for pick up each day of the week, regardless of the meal plan you are enrolled in. 

What if I’m an off-campus or Townhome student?
Optional meal plan accounts have been deactivated and will be refunded 50% of the
price paid for their Spring 2020 meal plan. Refunds for the Dining Dollar portion of the
meal plan will be limited to the lesser of the pro-rated refund amount or the balance. If
you would like to purchase a special meal plan that would enable you to participate in

What if I’m sick and can’t pick up my meals?
Pre-order your meals using the Daily Meals Request Form and contact your RA for assistance with picking up your meals at Brockway.

Can I pay cash, credit/debit card, Easy Money, or Dining Dollars for a meal?
No, pre-ordered pick-up meals are for meal plan holders only. 

 

Disease Prevention Protocols

The health and safety of our customers and employees is BASC’s highest priority. Beginning Monday, April 6 Brockway will be transitioning to pick-up only. To ensure a safe and pleasant experience when picking up your meals, please read and follow these directions:

  1. If you are sick or experiencing any flu like symptoms - PLEASE DO NOT ENTER BROCKWAY. Use the meal selection form and contact your RA to coorindate pick-up of your food.
  2. Enter using the west doors one person at a time.
  3. PRACTICE SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING - Please maintain a minimum of 6 feet between you and the next person while picking up meals and snacks.
  4. Limited people will be allowed in the lobby at any one time. A BASC employee will let you know when the lobby is clear for you to enter.
  5. SANITIZE HANDS AFTER ENTERING BROCKWAY - Use the provided hand sanitizer after entering the building.
  6. Once inside please follow all instructions and continue to maintain safe social distancing between you and the next person. Approach the table when signaled by a BASC employee. A variety of snacks and bottled beverages will be available for you to choose from. BASC employees will include in your bag with your meals.
  7. Once you have received your meals please exit via the north doors immediately.
  8. Refrigerate or consume food immediately. When ready to consume your dinner meal, be sure to heat your food thoroughly in your microwave for best flavor and to meet food safety guidelines. Only reheat once within 48 hours. Discard any leftover or uneaten food after 48 hours.

Specifically, please remember to practice proper hand washing, avoid touching your face, disinfect commonly touched items and surfaces frequently, avoid close contact with people who are sick, and stay home when you are sick.
