Employee Resources Related to Coronavirus

Bringing Brockport Back

We are continuously working to implement safety measures to deliver our key services to the campus community while keeping our team members and customers safe. Our services look and feel very different this year as we adopt new safety protocols and operational procedures. These measures are required to Protect the Nest and keep us all safe!

Returning to Work

COVID-19 has created a need for organizations across the world to alter their operations. BASC is continuously implementing policies and procedures to keep team members safe. These policies follow guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the New York State Department of Health (DOH), New York State Executive Orders, the National Restaurant Association (NRA), Monroe County, and SUNY Brockport. As the situation continues to evolve, there will likely be updates to our protocols. That information will be communicated as it becomes available.

Daily Health Screening Form

All team members are required to complete a Daily Health Screening Form prior to entering the workplace. If you answer “Yes” to any question(s) on the Daily Health Screening Form, do not report to work. Instead, self-isolate and contact your supervisor, BASC Human Resources at [email protected] or 585-395-2752, and your healthcare provider immediately.

Social Distancing and Face Masks

Dining Services team members will wear masks at all times and maintain a distance of at least 6’ from all individuals to the extent possible, unless the core activity requires a shorter distance. Clean masks will be provided to Dining Service team members at the start of each shift or whenever they become soiled.

To assist in social distancing and reducing density in the workplace, non-essential personnel who are able to complete their job duties at home may continue to do so at this time.

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfecting Protocols

Maintaining clean dining facilities and workplace assists in minimizing risk to everyone. Dining Services has detailed cleaning and disinfecting protocols in place. In addition, everyone must do their part to practice proper hand washing, avoid touching your face, and disinfect commonly touched items and surfaces frequently. Signs have been posted throughout the workplace to remind team members and customers of these practices.

Additional Employee Resources

Additional resources are available via the ADP Workforce Now employee portal.
