There’s a lot of information below, use these quick links to jump to the section of interest:
Harrison Dining Hall
Harrison Dining Hall will continue to be the premier dining operation serving all-you-care-to-eat breakfast, lunch, light lunch and dinner Monday – Friday, and brunch, light lunch, and dinner on the weekends. Harrison offers a wide variety of menu choices each meal period including pizza, grill items, salad, soup, sandwiches, vegan options, and made without gluten selections along with traditional menu favorites. The Sante station offers many made-without-gluten and plant-based options. We have regular Sundae Bar nights and weekly display cooking with customizable options. In addition, the Gluten-Free zone provides cereals, breads, deli meat, and dessert selections along with a dedicated (GF) toaster, refrigerator, and freezer. We continue to label for the major allergens. Students are encouraged to speak to a manager at any time if you need help finding options. They’re always happy to assist! Our Special Dietary Needs webpage also has a wealth of information to help you navigate the options available.
The Square
New this year at The Square at the Union: A new shop named Talons will feature hot breakfast sandwiches in the morning and fries, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and more for lunch! Additional “meal swipe” options have been added for both breakfast and lunch, including both hot selections and quick grab ‘n go options. Check out our “You Pick 2” cooler to create a complete meal to go. Signs at each shop indicate the “meal swipe” options available. We also continue to offer Bport Bowls serving up custom-made salads in an allergy-friendly environment, Fiesta offering made-to-order burritos, bowls, nachos, and salads, pizza slices at Pizzaz, and coffee and smoothies at Jitterbugs. Plus, the dining room received a refresh with new carpet, tables, and chairs!
Brockway Dining Hall Express
Brockway Dining Hall Express will be open for quick and easy lunches and dinners Monday – Thursday. Its menu will include soup, macaroni and cheese, a large salad bar, deli sandwiches, and select hot entrees. Take out will be available, making Brockway an ideal choice for students with tight schedules looking for a convenient “meal swipe” solution for lunch or dinner at the center of campus.
Subway
Subway, located in the Seymour College Union, will be open for lunch, Monday through Friday.
TRAX & The Nest
TRAX and The Nest will be open daily on the ground floor of Harrison Dining Hall. TRAX will feature late-night favorites including boneless wings, mac and cheese, pizza and more. The Nest will continue to offer all the convenience items you need, plus its “You Pick 3” to-go meal solution for student meal plan holders (with the exception of those on the Unlimited Plan) using “Meals”. Students will also enjoy the Nescafe coffee machine and the popular F’Real milkshakes and smoothies at The Nest.
Raj Madan Cafe
Raj Madan Cafe, located conveniently in the library will be serving the ever-popular espresso specialty beverages plus hot breakfast sandwiches and paninis have been added to the menu selections.
Automated Dining Options
Lastly, be sure to meet your new BFF’s (Brockport’s Fresh Fridge) located in The Perch in Hartwell Hall, the Drake Memorial Library, and the Annex in Tuttle. Your BFF is stocked with premium grab ‘n go selections and accept credit/debit, Points and Easy Money. Stay tuned for information about additional automated options coming soon.
Method of Payment/Meal Plan Information
BASC Dining Services is going cashless at all locations. Simply use your meal plan, Easy Money, or credit/debit at all locations. As a reminder, the “Meals” portion of your dining plan can be used at Harrison Dining Hall, Brockway Dining Hall, select meals at The Square including “You Pick 2” options, and “You Pick 3” selections at The Nest (with the exception of those on the Unlimited Meal Plan). Points can be used at any dining location. You can always add more Points to your account, just remember that Points don’t roll at the end of the semester so only add what you know you’ll use.
Students, be sure to know what meal plan you’re on and how it works (Terms of agreement are available online). Friday, September 8 is the last day to make a change to your meal plan.
